Hi Everyone

This is my Mercedes Benz W124 E300 diesel. It,s a 1994 export to Sri Lanka.

The body is quite good with no dents or scrapes, however, the paint is not so good.

Hi everyone

Thanks. Yes, it is a head turner even after 26 years !

It says 217,728 km but cannot be sure it is authentic. The engine is in good nick, smokes a little on idle, but starts first time every time and pulls very well.

It had been imported privately.

I thought that was the norm for diesels. I have seen E200, E250 and E300 all with the diesel badge on the boot lid.

We get a fair bit of diesels over here in Sri Lanka, but very few E300s. Some guys have started to convert the other diesels to the 3 litre diesel.
