My W202 C55 Respray

Hi,
As some of you are aware my AMG is being resprayed at the moment at long last as it has been long overdue, it is being done in a local mainstream body shop, its been there the past 4 weeks and is due back very soon :bannana:
Heres a few shots that the body shop has taken for me, as I feel sure some people maybe interested.

The last two pics show rust in around the front windscreen aperature, this prompted the bodyshop to ring me, as the screen needed to come out to do the job properly.

With all the care and effort that's clearly being put in, its going to look brilliant when it's done. A very thorough job.

the bodywork looked good in the 1st couple of pics!...will follow with interest...worth the wait once she all back together with her new coat of paint

Thanks for the positive feedback, I got a message from him tonight telling me they have started the base coat and he was spraying all the doors, inside and out, and the new front wing.
He is working tomorrow just to paint my car as he would rather paint do it on a Saturday when its quite and he can take his time and get it 100%.

and the front bumper, there was a huge crack in it which has no been repaired.

Looks like a lot of work!! Will be worth it in the end though!

Reminds me when my W211 was in, I just wanted to see it everyday, as it's like a new bit everyday....

Nice masking work there, which REALLY makes all the difference when there is no overspray & clean sharp lines.

I bet that finish will "pop" in the sun when the top coat is added

Well he worked yesterday to start putting the top/finishing coat on and sent me some pics looks a superb finish though i,ll reserve my judgement till i have seen it in the flesh so to speak.

Looks to be a very professional job.I'm sure that there are 'before' pics on here,but a before/after set would be good to see.Got to be one of-if not the-best 202s around. Btw is it the same chap that did Missy D's 124,because that one has the same 'no compromise' air about it.
