Dumb question, but the headlamp lenses on my 1999 E320 don't look the same as most of the others I've seen. They appear to be glass, have far fewer lines on the outside and seem clearer than most - you can see a separate vertical glass lens inside. What have I got?
Don't know if this is relevant, but the car was originally a personal import from Holland by an RAF chap serving in Germany - guess he made a packet by reselling it in the UK, where the previous owner bought it from an MB main dealer.
Hope somebody can shed some light on my headlights!
