I have replaced the left EGR unit on my car. It doesn't seem to be coming from anywhere obvious or visible. The only indication of where it is from is an occasional puff of steam from the left rear of the bonnet. The loss is about 1.5 litre in about 10 miles.
When I stop and lift the bonnet, there is no indication of where the leak is. The EGR unit feels dry as does the hose attaching it to the cooling system.
I have tried a second new EGR but with the same result. I even refitted the old faulty unit, which solved the leak, but of coarse showed an EML.
Has anyone out there got any ideas?
