I was going my 2002 e320 cdi estate a good vacuum earlier so I had the rear seats up when I noticed the clips had been removed from the passenger rear cover so as I have a mystery battery drain I decided to take a peak and found there has clearly been water ingress under the seat as the light level control unit is very badly damaged.
I have a mystery set of connectors which are also very badly damaged but I cannot find out what they are for? I was learning towards the audio unit as the roof antenna seems to be linked into the loom.

Look like extras for audio especially with the coax, but some other more qualified members will clarify what exactly they are for. Get a can of either of these two as I had a gearbox plug on an Audi suffering from water ingress with the usual green corrosion and this stuff cleaned it up brilliantly. If it was me I would smear something like Vaseline on the plugs then and cover with a plastic a plastic bag until you find the source of the water ingress.

If there are any PN on the parts you question. Pump them in google and you soon find out what is what. Could be extra loom for an extra what was not originally fitted.

Possibly a CD multi changer previously removed?
