n/s door panel removal

Hi, can any one tell me how to remove the door panel on my 2001 clk cabriolet(with airbgs) please? and maybe tell why when i raise the window it comes back down again but when open the door and try again it's works.bizarre,thanks,lemp 1953:confused:

Hello and welcome.

You have given some good info, in when you say that the window goes up when the door is open.

All that is wrong is that the window is too tight in the runners, and the window thinks that something is stuck in the way and it goes back down again.

All you need to do is to spray some PTFE in the runners, and silicon is better on the rubber on the A pillar seals.

You should not have to take the liner off to do this

Hi Malcom,thanks for the advise and will try to source some ptfe spray however i would still like to take the door panel off as i found that the light on the underside of the door panel was'nt working so i removed the light to change the bulb but found that the wires were not connected to the light,obviously the panel has been off before and the light has not been reconnected,and the wires are nowhere in sight.i would appreciate you help,many thanks Mike.
