N/S wing mirror 1976 Mercedes 200

Hi folks

Any idea where I might pick up a full mirror assembly for my recently acquired old 200.

Just been contacted by salvage people with the mirror only, not the tilt control knob for the interior if car.

No mirror fitted to car originally.

You just need to find someone breaking one - From memory I believe they were standard fit after around 1979 ish (Our V plate had one) - so find someone breaking, say, a 1981 123 and you'll probably be in luck. I'd hit the normal places, autotrader, exchange and mart etc (if they are still going...) and see who's breaking what.
I also believe mercedes enthusiast mag could be helpful.
I take it you've tried Mercman in Southampton and Dronsfields in Manchester?
