Need a quick favour from a fellow Vito W639 owner 115 CDI. Small white cable coming out of the back the ignition??

Hey guys. I'm having some electrical issues in my vito. I've had to strip the dash down which wasnt too bad. Found out the previous owner has messed around...alot.

Theres a white cable (Two pinned connector) coming out of the back ignition unit which wraps around the actual main piece of the dash itself and is taped to it. The previous owner has cut this cable and I have no clue what it does and where it should go. I suspect its something to do with cruise control as thats never worked since I've owned the van. Does anyone know what this cable is and where it should be going?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

I dont have a W639 but just to be clear.
You say it is a 2-pin connector but you only mention one white cable.??
Is there another wire on the connector, what colour is that..?

Ill get some pictures up this morning. Only one cable but the connector on the end has room for two pins even though it may be one! Thanks for the replies guys

Does that white wire register any voltage when you turn the ignition...?

It's the antenna/receiver for the remote(Key fob), it goes round under the dash.
