AMGeed I looks right to me . But there is one other things to consider .Like the date it was built March 1989 and i keep getting asked if its a 160 118 or 166 122 and i dont know this .But i do think the same fuel pumpe were used for both engines. Gave my vin number to each parts supplier, and you would not believe how many have told me the pump to get ,and each one the numbers are not the same .. So i am confused ,com ha ha I bet some one will come up with another nomber soon

Very often with parts you get the same part, but just an updated part number.

When looking for rear brake discs on Autodoc I got different OEM part numbers but the same disc fitted all.

AM So many sellers say we have checked up and there were 4 types fitted to your build and unless you find the part number from the old item then we are unable to help you , i do know now that the 160 188 use the same fuel pumps as the 166 122 . Spent 2 hours yesterday on Bosch web site they tell you all about the pumps and what they fit , i found every type of fuel pump fitted on the Mercedes diesel as well but no W124 260E,.I must be the only one thats ever fitted a new fuel pump to a 260E . I sent Bosch in Germany an email to ask if they knew ...Bosch sent me this of 5 companys in uk .So i looked in to all 5 and and left each one an email and i never had a reply .

I use Auto-Doc regularly but NEVER take their part number recommendations.

Use the MB EPC (here: https://mercedes.7zap.com/en/eu/fg/car/) with your VIN to find the original part number. Then search that within Auto-Doc, or others, to get the required aftermarket part.

Or but original from Teile-Profis for better prices than MB.

Good hunting.

AM Geed just used your link again, and most of the number of the pumps in the diagram are item- 8 with the number
003 091 5301 and it said in small print to use item number to purchase the item .There is a list , after i clicked on it with all the pump numbers are in there . And the fuel pump no 058 002 54 911 is included in there thats the one Parts in Motion gave me . It looks like both will do the job ..So thank you for the link you sent me above .

Glad to be of assistance - you should get at least a 5% Discount as the 124 is considered "Classic".
