Need Help C250 Diesel (EDC LIGHT)

Hello guys ..

I have this problem since a while .. i know its electrical as the engine runs perfectly with loads of power.

The EDC light stays on when i start the car .. the OVP relay has been checked and found working fine .. so i know the problem is some where else. it even effects the RPM meter.

If the car goes in a bump or somthing then sometime the EDC ligt goes of and the RPM starts.. any idea as to where this problem is comming from ?

come on someone with some info how does the car reads RPM ??

Probably from the injection pump??

The fault codes need to be read really. I would suspect maybe a poor earth?? Earth strap broken??

I will find out the fault code for reference. could you be more specific of the earth strap ?? wher is it located ?
