I have just purchased a R107. I have found that after rain, there is a considerable amount of water in the drivers side foot well. Someone has suggested taking the front air vent below the windscreen off, by removing the three pins inside the bonnet, apparently this will allow the grill to slide out.

The pins do not seem to want to come out:sad:

Has anyone removed this, are there any tips you can give:confused:

Thanks in advance:)

I'm affraid to say but you might find some rust in there or its the windscreen seal.

thank you for your help , i have removed the grill but had no luck in trying to clear the drain pipe . i am now going to get underneath and try clearing it from there . i did not see any signs of rust in there ,but it looks a bit of a larger gap between the windscreen and the chome surround stip on that side. is the windscreen bonded do you know ? it's a shame you are so far from me i would have liked to pop it in to you . is there anyone in the essex area you would recommend for this sort of thing .
