need help on chosing

help :sad: not sure what to do, there is a 1993 300ce forsale with 150km on the clock, i want a reliable car but for the same money i could buy a w210 year 1998 as you can see is newer, any advice. the more i read these threads the more confused i get.

Hi,
Personally i,d go for the E-class though i love the CE model
This i say because of the miles on the CE though i except that mercedes engines (in general) are bullet proof.
But a compromise could be a 124 E-class saloon a very highly thought and very classy car and still doesnt look out of place against other more modern cars.

Why do you want a Mercedes?

If it's for the love of them and an enthusiasm to be different. CE all the way.

If you are looking for a reliable comfortable car that makes you stand out from the BMW and Audi drivers then go for the newer car.

its the rust on the new model E Class that is putting me off, i live in spain so hopefully if there is none it should stay away, year up to 98 is fine for me i also like the c280 / c240 sport, again rust.
