[NEED HELP] Reset Service Indicator (C-class)(W203 models)

Dear Mercedes-Benz Owners,

I am writing a new thread as I need you help

I have seen other related discussions here about the same problem, BUT either the links dont work (ex. the discussions are very old) or the documents provided (such as MB Reset Service Indicator Guide 2009) are not applicable for my vehicle.

Therefore please help me with resting the Service indicator for my MB C180 year 2001 (or W203 models).
The real reason why I want to reset it - is that I have serviced the vehicle and have done a full MOT just now, but the place that I have done it could not do the service/did not have the knowledge of how to reset the service indicator.

On the vehicle's dashboard computer states: "Service B Exceeded by ... miles"

The problem I face, is that when I press the button 3 times - nothing happens I cant hear no beep, and the doors, boot, bonnet are closed.

Another thing is that I dont need to press the navigation buttons as when key is in, turned to position one then, the mileage screen is already displayed there.

Any hints?

Mine works by holding the button for about 30 secs untill it beeps and not the 3 clicks...

Maybe try this..

Hi,

Thank you very man ) Holding the button for 30 seconds worked!!!
Now, from service b, I managed to reset it and set a new 10k miles distance for the next service A - just the one I needed judging from the services performed on my car.

Thanks to all of you again.

After all we are very well orientated people - we drive and love Mercedes-Benz - best cars ever!!!
