Need some help please

Hi everyone, anyone know what to do with these issues?

1, Wiper no longer working, I checked the fuse and relay that's all working fine, washer fluid sprayers are working. I can hear the relay clicking

2, Other issue we have is that we think it's cold start issues where the car is revving at 500rpm and sometimes cuts out, could this be Microswitch, air mass sensor or something else?

Could the wiper problem be the motor itself. On the other issue it would be worth getting the codes read via a scan tool before buying any new parts.

1. Back in the days of W124's and R129's the N10 Combination relay often caused problems in later life with dry joints - especially wiper issues..I think theres a DIY on it on this forum.

2. If the car starts Ok but cuts out/wont restart for a while then check inside the distributor cap to see if it is wet..

I would expect engine speed to be a lot higher at cold start.
Warm idle is normally around 600 - 650rpm, from cold I'd expect closer to 750rpm.
I'd also be looking for vacuum or intake leaks, then check the temperature sender.
Assuming that the car is a 190E, also check the engine earth strap - use a multi-meter to check resistance between engine and battery negative terminal, should just be a few Ohms. A poor connection can cause a weak spark and skew temperature readings. Quick check for improvement is to clip a jump lead between battery negative and engine.

Have you inspected the sparkplugs?
