I’d say Goodyear’s, the F1 range has consistently been my favourite compared to many mid range and premium back to back tests over the last decade and I was doing 50,000 miles a year easy so getting through a lot of rubber.

As for the the mpg my CLS 320 does low 50s at legal motorway speeds and 38mpg is just knocking around town. Probably a good sign its running well.

As for the map, a healthy 320 can shift well for what it is when it’s moving. Mines not mapped but performs surprisingly well, but it ain’t no XKR, M5 (had them myself).

Enjoy your car!! Very sensible IMO to buy good used cars that are healthy, stay on top of the tlc and make good use out of them.

I started on Pirelli on my E350CDI not impressed wore quickly, then on to Conti's expensive but they last grip is good.
Now on Uniroyal Rainsports which I like the best. Grip is as good as Conti's better in the wet, & they are lasting & cheaper.
