Having enjoyed the last 3 years being entertained by a 440i BMW, I thought it was time to grow up!
Have now gone back to Mercedes in the form of E300 coupe.
So far, very pleased with purchase and feels good to be back behind a three pointed star!!!

Welcome - how do they compare ?
Obviously a significant power difference! However, the E300 is still reasonable!
It's also more refined than the BM, and nice to get off the 20" rims back to 19s!
Still finding out new things about it on a daily basis!!
It's also not annoying the neighbours on start up either!!
Overall, I'm very pleased with the change!

Welcome back to the fold.

I went the other way and bought a BMW 435i more for the engine rather than anything else but I am impressed with the overall quality of the car. I leave the real motoring to the MB estate.

There are somethings that BMW do better ie biannual service (for low mileage users) and onboard condition report but other than that not much to choose between the marques.

Enjoy the car hope it serves you well.

So is a 440i BMW like an M4 ? Sorry I am ignorant of BMW (and most other marques)
