New and looking any advice and tips

Hi everyone

First hello and well done on such a great forum.

I have just signed up after a bit of googling and will be getting my first MB tomorrow. Settled on a pristine 1996 E200 W210 Elegance. Dont need any real power as its just a bit of a run around 2nd car.

I always wanted one and am now almost an owner so any tips and advice you have would be very much appreciated.

Its an automatic petrol. I am looking forward to giving it a good run - could not believe it when the insurance quote was almost £300 less than the renewal quote for a Daewoo Leganza.

Well after a bit of mainly town driving and getting used to it must admit a lot happier with the handling than I expected although I am more used to driving a Ford Galaxy these days.

Seems to corner pretty well and the driving position is very good - visibility is better than I had expected. Hopefully this is the start of many years of happy MB motoring. :mrgreen:
