Are you sure that the battery is the correct polarity

I am still playing with the Aircon...

I decided to have it vacked and charged before piecing her back together. She goes in tomorrow for this. I thought that even though I tightened the fittings to specks it will be easier to change or tighten something with it apart VS back together.

Did find one problem in doing this though that the exterior light switch has to be plugged in in order for the climate controls and vacuum tree to work correctly. :D

If parts arrive soon ie Steering Column Cover, new blower motor, and all goes well. I hope to have her back together this weekend. :p

Thanks for asking though!

OK you do have a front back up fuse box, that protects all of the SAM units the rear SAM N10/2 has a fuse in the relay module as does the N10/1 module.

You are going to have to check them all in the F32 box

Sometimes it can something as simple as getting the correct ah as stated on your old battery.

I have this problem all last week, replaced battery with a brand new one and still same fault, return new battery to shop and changed old one still same problem, but it did reset it self over night and come back to normal

Then I did a search on battery and read what all the numbers means,

The following morning I phoned the dealer and eurocarparts for quote, dealer quoted £109(not sure if it include vat or not didn't ask, still cheap I think) and eurocarparts £91+vat = £107, dealer far away but eurocarparts can deliver,

So Bought Bosh silver 100ah with 800cca (cold cranking amps), ah (ampere hour/capacity) is more important when choosing battery.

Install new battery with correct ratings(same as on car previously), no error, display works first time, adjust ESP and I was on my way, car has been working since no problem, by the way the first new battery I got has 88ah and 680cca.

The reason I was getting the fuel gauge not working and doors, wiper, indicator, not working errors was that I was using incorrect ratings(not powerful enough) and my old battery was bad

Also repeatedly charging your battery with fast chargers damages it or weakens it further
