New BMW 3 series...New Audis

Saw a new BMW 3 series on the A1 last week.

Is it me or has the rear end been lifted straight from a Mitsubishi Carisma??

And the Audi new front grille: now all the Audi cars REALLY do look the same from the front. Yawn!

At least the C-Class does not look like a euro-mould rep mobile.

What are car designers smoking these days??

really Mitsubushis under the skin? The V40 was just a scandic (lack of) Carisma, was it not. It certainly drove like one.

I guess that just leaves Porsche and TVR. or have I missed out on some of the major mergers.

Ferrari is now set up as a stand alone company as GM were gonna buy FIAT but gave up and paid them $2bn to pull out of deal. They didnt want the Yanks to take the crown jewels then offload the others.

I came across one of these BWM 3s just ater I left the house about two months ago. it was stuck behind another car. We hit a straight about half a mile long and thought that the BWM was going to go for the overake...nope. I had to wind my old MB up to nearly 45 mph but I made it before the corner and I never spilt my tea.
