New C350e user

Hi all, nice to become one of the C350e owner, I got mine for a month and found from the forums with numbers of bad experiences in Mercedes hybrid system.

After my one month experience, Mercedes still a very luxury experience even it is a 4 years old. But.... I got the same feeling about the poor battery performance; I have consulted the dealer and reset the meter and result is 3.8miles after fully charged; ive sent back to dealer for “upgrading” the software, after this update, performance improved a lot.... from 3.8 miles to 4.9miles.....
is there any professional could tell me why there is huge difference from the data sheet of 19miles ?

Hello and welcome

Because the tests are done in ideal conditions which are almost impossible to recreate in real world driving.

All manufacturers do it as the tests are comparable

Totally understand, but 19miles to 4.9 miles for my actual result is far below.... i could accept is something about 10

Hi. I also have a C350e 4year old . And I have had it about a month. My car has covered 80000. Miles . So far it's working well . I've got approx 14. Miles sometimes 16 miles of charge,in. When charged complete.
my charger is on a timer, instead of doing the full two hours. I split it into two leaving about an 2hours between. I also let the charge rate go down to at least 10%

Thx Anthony, would you mind to share how to work the charger on a timer instead for fully charge 2 hours? U have installed a separate timer for the charger?

Hi ,I have installed a suitable outside 13 amp three pin plug ,wall socket at home . Then use a timer socket set at 1 hour then about 2 hours after set for another hour finishing the charge .
