Strangely its easier to drive slowly than a 220cdi, as the car is refined at such low speed it just wafts regally along, whereas the 220cdi made too much noise until higher speeds when it was in gears 4/5.
At the next meet I'll take you out in it, so nice and smooth.

7% difference, and you're driving it more leisurely to achieve that.Been up and back to Glasgow today, 40.4 on way up, 40.6mpg on way back. Say 3mpg short of the old car. Nowt really.
Cars average is 37mpg quoted so beating that without difficulty.

Ok, I only got 30mpg out of it today, but then again, I was trying to see how low it could go. :lol:
