New car issues

Evening all, recently bought a 06 E280 estate. Loving the car, just trying to find some better wheels!! Having a couple of problems!! First the central looking is not working from the key, well only occasionally works if put key next to the driver's door handle? Have seen some posts online about an antenna fault but can't find the module?? And secondly seems to be letting a small amount of water in the offside rear boot area?? And common issues??

The antenna amplifier can be either left or right rear quarter or in the tailgate depending on the car.

I've had issues on a C estate with ingress. That was water finding it's way around the inside of the seal on the vertical drops.
I removed, cleaned well, and ran a bead of silicon sealant around the inside of the seal before reinstalling it.
Otherwise I guess ingress could be from a rear light.
