2005 SL 350
Hi everyone I am an SL 350 driver which I have owned for 7 years. I am based in the North West of England. The dreaded battery management unit has started to smell so I have removed it this morning and yes it has burnt out!! Does anyone know where I can purchase a reconditioned replacement possibly in the UK
Thanks in advance
John

Hi there John, welcome on board.

I have owned my SL for 10 years, and I have found that the best place to obtain MB specific parts such as you mention is your local Mercedes dealership. Have you tried them ? What was the response ?

You could try eBay etc, you might get lucky, but used electrical parts from eBay rarely work in my experience. Other internet sites are available.

Hello and welcome
As above, try the main dealers first, they are sometimes 1/4 of the price than internet purchases, which I have found out yesterday buying a turbo return pipe seal. £3.52 delivered from Grangemouth Mercedes Benz. :D
£12.95 on internet auction site

Indeed ebay can be a rip off to those not in the know. People pump in a part no. Ohhhh 12.95 delivered. Thinking its a bargain.
