Thank you for the welcomes. First of all I need to decide where to buy said slk. Either main dealer using agility with prob not as much spec I want or to buy an older car with all bells and whistles.....

Welcome - try Pistonheads and autotrader - there is a massive choice of all Mercedes models on there. If you want to go the main dealer route, I believe Merc have an excellent website with all dealer network cars for sale on it.

First you should choose your "must haves" (e.g. engine size, colour, mileage, price) and then using those criteria to narrow down the possible cars, and come up with a short list of three or four to view. You can always post a link to any car you are considering on here, and people will advise.
