Im new here , redged yesterday . Hello all

Been offered a 300 CE 1990 .

Its all main dealer history and been looked after like its his baby .

Problem is the chap is nearly family .

He wants me to have the car because he knows i will look after it .

I want to give him a fair price , even though he wants me just to take it :Oops:

How much do you guys think its worth , i have no idea .

I say take it for free and repay the owner by taking as much care of it as they did. And welcome

...Yeah, I would take it for free but then return his kindness with a gift that he would find easier to accept than cash : new lawnmower?.....weekend in a posh hotel?...pay for his windows to be repainted?.....that new flat screen TV he's always wanted?...etc ...etc. A classic case for a 'token of your appreciation' m'thinks.

I offered him a grand in the end .
Picking the car up saturday .
It will be my first mercedes . Will try and post a pic when i get her .

Hi Steve and a late welcome from me, I love the CE models, they have really nice body lines and that 3.0 Litre Engine is a great performer especially if it is a 24V,Ilook forward to seeing the photos.
