new KPH speedo cluster in 2002 E240

I have had a "Kilometers Per Hour" speedo clock fitted to my 2002 E240 (current model) as in Ireland we will be changing to metric as from Jan' 05 the cluster unit was fitted by MB main dealer in Cork City. Speedo clock hand reading KMH ..... digital readout (eventhough set at MPH) reading KMH.... KMH reading is further multiplied to read as a multiple of the fictisious MPH reading. Cruise controll reads MPH. I realise that this is conviluted but, is there a solution??? can this be rectified by computer at main dealer??? please help!!!

I am sure you should be able to be sorted at the dealer using their Star Machine.


Give them a shot.
