Just introducing myself as a recent owner of a B220 CDI Auto 2013. Love the car. Was going to join a couple of weeks back to get some advice about the car overrevving in 2nd gear and fuel consumption being lower than it should be. Unfortunately today the gearbox got really bad with 1st and 2nd gear sticking and changing too late. Engine light now showing. I'm really scared the gearbox is gone.
I'll post separately in the faults section. In any case look forward to joining in the discussion once the car is back to full health (now I doubt if it was when I got it!). Before this, the only forum I've been part of has been a coffee one, which was a great community. Hoping for the same here. Moving to this Merc from a BMW 5 series.
