When I bought my 1993 Mercedes C180 Esprit, I was told that it was one of a few used to launch the model in the UK. It was registered on 14th Sept 1993, and as far as I can gather the model was not launched until the October of that year. It is in 'light yellow' and has some unusual specifications. I only paid £1,500 for it, and it really is in immaculate condition. I know yellow is not everyone's choice, but it does stand out from the crowd. I was wondering whether yellow was used as a launch model because it's distinctiveness? Any thoughts. How can I find out? I have tried to attach a picture, but it's my first effort, so be patient!!!!!!!!

Well mine won't win any land speed records! Different 'yellow' too. Mine is the four wheel version!

I would have thought from your tag line that blue would have been your colour choice ;)
Have you put your Vin into the Russian site yet as that will give you the original delivery dates and specification. http://www.mbclub.ru/mb/vin/?lng=eng

Ah ha! Yellow is the away kit, although light yellow would make them look even more like pansies than they do already. Will check that site though thanks.
