new member needs a little help please

hi,my ml 270 cdi w reg runs like a dream,just a couple of questions you may be able to answer.when turning right at an island i get a strange wurring noise from under the centre console,no other g/box probs.also last night i tried to start the car 30 mins after returning home from work,it turned but wouldnt start.got up today and no probs? any help would be of help cheers

Hi and welcome, if it does it again I would have thought that the crank shaft sensor could be at fault, we have had a few go down of late

That noise is maybe the PS pump as it is very common on the ML's (163). It may sound like its from the centre console.

Have a look at the prop centre bearing too as this could cause a noise.

The non start issue is more likely the injectors or the rail pressure monitor rathere than the crankshaft sensor
