Hello, purchased a 99 C class Estate last year It came with steel wheel, I have bought a set of alloys which are from an E-class (picture enclosed) question is, does any body now if they fit?

Thanks.

Just because they fit on the hubs

Does not mean they will be okay. It all depends on what width the wheels are, versus their 'ET' number.

Some guys on Ebay are selling wheels stating they will fit on all MBs.

For your car, if they are 6.5J or 7J they should have an ET number of 37mm.

my guess is

if they are from an E they probably won't. The Numbers you need are stamped on the inner face of the wheel, and given in your owner's handbook.

As i said ,i knew they would fit........If you start looking for numbers on the rims they wont match as they are from a different car as you said.......

As long as the offset is ok and the tyres dont catch on the bodywork, then there is no problem....

You still didn't answer what width and ET they are. If they are narrowish the will fit. The Et of 7Js is 35 for the EClass and 37 for the CClass.
What that means is that if you put 7J ET35s on a CClass the track width of your car will be 4mm wider than recomended, but should be Okay (2mm per side)

The photo you show is not that clear; but they look like copies of B66020058 AMG cast wheels.

I never did find out the ET number, I couldnt find it in the hand book as suggested.

The tyres are 205/50/16 V Rated, there is ample clearence on the rear and front lock to lock.

The tyres are the same as what was fitted to the E-class.
