New member, new(ish) car

Hi,
I'm picking up my '55 reg C220 Avantgarde SE (auto, saloon) on thursday next. It's immaculate, inside and out, and drove well when I tested it.
Is there anything that I should be aware of/check when I collect it?
It was 1st reg'd Dec '05 and has 28500 on the clock.
I'm excited about owning my first merc..can't wait!

Thanks for the welcome Malcolm, and for that link. Apparently, my new car has an engine with 'special parts' and a 'rotating emergeny(sic) flasher, front (red light)'. Oooer!

Well I do not know what that does, but its different to say the least, you could change it to a blue one, and say that it was there when you bought the car
