Dear ALL,

I have recently become a member of this forum. I own a 2011 Mercedes Benz Class220 CDI w204 series Saloon. I have been reading thread posts across this forum and I found them quite useful and informative. I would need all your inputs as I new using this car and I would love to know where I can get the cheapest parts or repairs or even breakers because I have a minor incident like hit and run but unfortunately I don't have a camera in front of my car, so my right headlight is damaged. which is a xenon headlight and am aware it quite expensive and the lowest offer am seeing right now is £500 and I don't want to run this through the insurance company. I need your input in this, any suggestion, ideas, a recommendation would be pleased.

Best bet is look at the back of headlight for the pn and pump it in ebay. Or look on ebay for cars being broken.
Hope no one was hurt in the accident.
For replacing the headlight you will need a bodyshop, not a dealer. If you are handy it could be a DIY depending on your experience as the bumber may need to come off.
Get a genuime merc headlight otherwise it will look different and you will not like it.

Welcome. This forum is a fantastic source of information and it has some extremely knowledgeable people as members. Hopefully you'll be able to source a replacement headlight as suggested above. Isn't it ridiculous that you have to remove the front bumper on many modern cars in order to swap the unit?
