Hi and thanks for accepting me in to your club,

I have a P reg C180 and came across this club while looking for help to fix a problem of the single wiper blade which extends beyond the windscreen on the near side and ultimately catches on the rain water chanel causing it to jam up preventing it returning to sweep the windscreen.
Would appreciate if any body talk me through on making the necersary adjustments.

Thanks Blobcat and Malcolm,

I have removed the plastic trims and exposed the white metal cast wiper mechanism which I will remove tomorrow. Will I find a particular nut or bolt which will make the adjustment?

This is a better link, provided all of the linkage is moving freely its often where the mechanism joins the motor

Have removed the complete wiper mechanism and checked all moving parts including the spline and motor end but can not detect any slippage or loose parts. Have remounted and tried the wiper on the car again, all is moving o/k but the arm is still extending to the extent it is catching in the rain water chanel. any more suggestions.
