Just purchased an R Reg E300TD Estate and live in welwyn garden city hertfordshire, could anyone please tell me a good place for a service (for the car) and where can i purchase a wood/leather steering wheel from and a good place to get the alloys refurbished.

There is a regular seller on German Ebay selling wooden/leather steering wheels for your model. Just look up 'W124'.

Alternatively, www.eurocarparts.com have some for your model at a reasonable price.
