New Soft Top for 350sl

Hi All,
anyone know where I can get a new reasonably priced soft top for my SL( I am afraid to ask the price of an original MB one). The original is looking very tired now but has lasted well.

Saw it, looks good but 800 notes a bit pricey for me. I suspect the frame is driving up the price.

Best Place is the STATES. Order from wwwtopsonline.com. Different grades depending what you want to pay. Same top for right or left hand drive. I bought the cheapest one for my 280 SL and it was perfect.
P.S a lot of UK companies buy theirs from the states and just convert the dollar price to sterling . ie 400 dollars is 400 pounds.

Has anyone tried fitting one themselves, looks a bit tricky but I would like to have a go.

had mine fitted by bodyshop, watched them doing it and felt I could have done a better job myself

Just ordered from www.toponline.com. Excellent service! They phoned from the US to confirm the order and hopefully I'll have my new top in 3 days time....excellent prices compared to UK prices! Going to ask my local bodyshop to fit it for me....can't wait as my roof is on my SL has a few holes in it

Topsonline seems to be the way to go. The top on mine seems to be the original black(now grey) canvas top with a beige interior. Do the replacement tops come with this beige interior and are the thick rubber strips above windows supplied as well?
