New thrust control arms and ball joints MEYLE HD review =)

so after 125k miles and 10years i decided its time to change my front suspension components:
shock absorbers and strut mount - BILSTEIN
lower ball joints - MEYLE OE
drop links -MEYLE HD
thrust control arm - MEYLE HD

when doing the lower ball joint, it has a locating pin which 90% gets seized in the hub- easier to remove the new pin from new ball joint and guide into the old pin
(took me 2hours to figure it out haha)

WOW what a difference!! the only thing i can say is the meyle control arms with HD bushings are firm and give its a SPORT type of feel rather than soft and floaty like it used to be

over bumps its firm and handling is much improved

if you dont want to loose the soft MERC ride then dont fit the HD bushings

Hmm squishy. Be interested to see how long the ball joints last, as my only issue with them is longevity. Would also advise an alignment/geo check as they will often be off compared to OEM. Good job!

so far so good! the suspension is nice and tight but i have noticed the meyle HD drop link have gone rusty already at the nuts ! didnt expect that .
Bilstein shocks have gone a little softer with time and now its a lovely drive.

i have recently changed all my engine mounts too and its night and day difference. Just need to do my wheel bearings now and soundproof the car as wind and road noise is shocking.
