I hope this, my first post, is in the right place!
I've just picked up a brand new secondhand W203 today - a 2002 C220 CDI Avantgarde SE (what a mouthful!).

When I indicate right, a beeper sounds in time with the indicator. When I indicate left, no beep. What's all that about?

There are no faults indicated on the dash.
The car does have a tow-bar, though. Without wishing to plant the seed of a reply in your mind, do you think there might be a dodgy connection/pin in the towbar fitting? I know from a mate's car the indicator beeps (both ways) when he has his trailer hooked-up.

Thanks in advance for your responses.

Regards,
Clive

Hi & Welcome,

I would think it is a distinct possibility that there is water in the towing electrical connector which is causing a short. First thing I would do is have a look at the connector and strip it down to see if there is any water ingress.
