Hello

I have been looking for a decent estate car for a little while now. I was looking at Volvo V40, Masda 6 & even BMW 3 series. My budget was upto £7000 but obviously less would have been better. I saw this auction on Ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4616148461&sspagename=ADME:L:RTQ:UK:1

So guess what? Yes I went nad had a look at it and it is absolutly gorgeous (she was only selling because thay bought her a brand new one!) Impecable service history etc etc (they were fairly loaded err millionares I would say)
So we did a deal and I bought it yesterday for £5800 cash. I think this is a good deal but hey what do I know!! What do others think? Would love some feed back. It had a B grade service in sept, what is a b grade service. HAve found my local Merc specialist in Ditchling and they charge £48 ph so I think i,m set. 70k milage wise isnt alot on a merc is it?

Cheers

Hi Steve and welcome to the forum. It looks a lovely car. I think the B service is one of the cheaper ones, if I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me, hope you will be very happy with your car :)

"A" is the small oil service
"B" is the larger wheels off service

You don't have to go to Ditchling...

You'll find Alan Robertson in Hove (by the Tin Drum) is an expert on Mercedes; he's on 01273 770838

Also Thwaites in Portslade (by Goatleys window warehouse) are very good. They're on 01273 430303

I use both these specialists and am 100% happy

Mercedes of Brighton (also Portslade) are helpful in the parts department. 01273 702020

Just out of curiosity how much do they charge per hour? I think the Ditchling specialist was £48 ph.
