hi all, am looking at getting a merc from a mate who says its an e class 220 sport??? is this right as cant seem to find a pic of 1 that matches this, he says it has the retracting seatbelt function and was top of the range in its class, could this possibly be the coupe model, its a 96 on n-plate, any help on this matter appreciated please, cheers scott.

Sounds like a W124 coupe (the coupes had a retracting seatbelt arm) with the 2.2 4 cylinder engine and the 'sportline' package which is normally a factory suspension tweak.
It wasn't the top of the range - that was the 320 but it's still a very nice and collectable car. With the 2.2 it will never set the tarmac alight but it should be a very comfy cruiser and a very nice looking motor.
