New W211 (Facelift) E-Class ??

Hi all,

I understand that the existing W211 is due for a bit of plastic surgery in Feb 2006 and will have a bit of a face lift.

Since I'm on the verge of ordering one in the next 3 - 4 months I'm wondering if I might hang on (since build time is around 12 weeks anyway)

Soooooo.... the point I'm getting at is does anyone have any links to anywhere that have got some decent pics of the 'new' shape. I've tried a few 'spy' sites but not come up with anything.

Any help/pics much appreciated

btw....

this looks like the new e class (W212)... I'm really not sure I like it.. YET !

BUt I wanna see what the 2006 facelift looks like.

I think you'll find that that photo is made up from an artists impression.

I presume you can order your W211 facelift. Think the V6 diesel is available in it straight away, not sure. They guys were discussing it a few weeks ago

Hi Benzo...of course it will look like a Chrysler....after all it has the reliability to match.

If you ask me the Lexus now has the presence and poise Mercedes used to have matched to the reliability and sold feel they also once had. The LS430 looks like a Merc....you could change the badge and get away with it.
