Newbe question Programming an Audio 10 Cd player

Hi I'm new to this board. I bought a European Audio 10 CD player (Alpine) for my '96 S420. It's an MF 2297 model. Anyone know how I get it into "test" mode? I want to re-program it to North American radio standards. There is a way, it's just not the same a Becker.
