I have scoured t'internet for some time (no being all that familiar with computers) and found this fabulous site. Firstly well done to all those involved. What a superb way to solve problems, show off or just share anecdotes. I have a great 190 D 1986 in arctic white, when it starts it sounds almost industrial in size but to be honest I quite like the noise, I pull off and the engine purrs like a mountain Lion.....Gggrrrrr.
But what about this??? When the lights are on and I indicate right, the wiper starts as if on permanently, when the lights are on and I flash or go onto main beam the wiper does its three mandatory strokes then rests. With the lights off none off this occurs.
How bizarre, is my car shouting earth fault at me? I did notice the right hand headlight dims slightly with the right hand indicator on.
What is she up to??
How can I fix this peculiarity?
Can it be fixed by an enthusiastic but fairly clumsy and incompetent DIYer?
