Nice to find a mercedes forum.....
I've owned a BMW E30 325i for the past 3 years but sadly crashed it a couple of weeks ago and its not worth repairing. Anyway my brother has kindly offered me his 190e for virtually next to nothing and i couldnt really refuse.
I need to find out more details about the car but its either the 1.8 or 2.0 model, with an auto gearbox. I don't actually have the car yet but will do in a couple of weeks time.
I just wanted some pointers in advance, as to any common faults on these cars? and also any tips and tweaks for better performance... im not expecting 325i speed, but a comfortable automatic drive which is fairly economical!
Also I'd like to update the styling a little bit, maybe clear front and side indicators? where would be the best place to get these from?
