Newbie 300 CE Tail light Question

Hi,

Great Forum and please forgive me if I could have answered this by a more judicous use of the search engine.

Where can I get aftermarket (read as "cheap") late model looking tail lights for my 300 CE W124 coupe?

All the modding shops only stock the saloon item which I am told does not fit.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Loz, Welcome to the forum.

You will find that the saloon lights are identical and fit just fine.

Eurocarparts or German and Swedish do the rear lights for less than £40. I put them on my CE and although the quality isn't to quite the same standard as original, once fitted its very hard to tell. If you are really keen, you can also fit the rear filler panel to update the rear end further (see mine below)

The front of mine is taken care of already...

But I could well do with the back sorting like yours. How much is the fill in panel? its a great bit of detail!

Once done, you just need to change the side repeatrers (genuine ones are only about £10 the pair), colourcode the bumpers, & lower the springs 8)
