Newbie Hi to all

I am now a proud virgin owner of 2007 w211 220 cdi executive, had bmw for last 11 years, this is my first merc.
I always do my own servicing etc and would like to a) get the data card etc for my vehicle and B) find workshop manual for my car.
VIN no is WDB2110082B233994
Could any of you kind people help, have downloaded the 25 gb epc/wis vm ware file but cannot get it to work, maybe I am thick servers pswd does not appear valid.
Any help would be really appreciated Thanks sc.
