Newbie question please help

I have a 97 e220 manual and when you change gear into 2nd and 3rd, there is always like a 'judder' in the car

Is this a major problem or is it easily cured?

are you sure you are pressing the clutch properly when changing gear ?

if so could be either a clutch problem or the oil inside the gearbox

so wats the cure please and approx how much and where does one obtain this please?

Repair the oil leak and fit new clutch assembly providing that is the cause. Does your car shudder in reverse? It might even be a warped flywheel which could be checked when the gearbox has been removed

no car does not shudder in reverse or 4th and 5th gear.

So what do people suggest?
