been skulking for a while, and asking a few questions...so thought i'd post a couple of pics of my ride

so here you go. Its my 200te W124. needs a few little jobs doing. Sorted the cold start issue, just had it serviced too, so thats up to date..it has a full service history, and three owners from new. Gone for the German Look ride, as you can see its been lowered a bit..and that tow bar acts as a good exhaust guard from the speed bumps. Lets just say i think i got a bargain!! Doing a full leather interior conversion, and putting leccy windows in the rear. Also thinking of changing rear lenses to crystal style, with projector front lights. Minimal bodywork required...just need a stereo (but thinking of doing a full mobile PC install etc but havent decided you)

what do you think?

Nice! I like the look of that - good stance and nice rims

I see you're in to aircooled Dubs too. VW's are my main passion. I have a custom mk3 Passat, and would love a cal-look Bug in the future.

I think the cops are cracking down on German plates though so beware. Mine only go on at shows!

right, started spending the cash...as the problems start

battery went the other day, so new one purchased

go the leather interior...just need to fit it

Hazards have packed up...got a new switch to try over the weekend, if its not that, what is the most likely fault? would it be the relay??

oh and kerbed one of the refurbed wheels:rolleyes:

Nice W124 est. Like it a lot. Sorry to hear about the kerbed wheel - shouldn't be too bad though should it, the sidewall seems to overhang the rim plenty.

sorted all electrics bar rear washer pump for rear window, think thats broke altogether now...since last posts ive had a major puncture...more money i didnt want to spend.

on a lighter note, a new hazard switch sorted the problem....the rev dropping is much improved but does it very occasionally when warmed up. havent fitted leather yet as leaving that until rear spheres have been replaced, will be fitting new steering wheel this week too.

I have similar wheels on the coupe at present but yours may look slightly bigger.

What size are the wheels ?

What size tyres do you have on them ?

Grateful for the info.

Thanks for the feedback.

As suspected, slightly bigger.
