Hello and welcome. I used to have to go over to the Island a couple of times a month for a few years when I was working and I haven’t heard the Caulkhead name since then. As I recall, my local staff over there used to add the rhyme “Isle of a Wight, born and bred, strong of arm and thick of head” but I couldn’t possibly comment on that!

For those not from around here, caulk is the stuff they used to put in between the planks of a boat to make it watertight and it would appear that the Islanders used to do this messy job hence the name.

Ownership has taught me just how incredibly capable this particular vehicle is. Having owned countless vehicles, it is without doubt the most impressive of them all.

Mine is 10 years old in about 6 months, & I have had it 9 years. Its a perfect car for me, very reliable, comfortable, & surprisingly economic. We do a 3 week touring holiday round Europe each summer, & its been the perfect car for that holiday.
