Can any one recommend a indie who can help with diagnostic in my e class 220d estate
Have a warning light on saying vehicle riding but the car height is fine
Had the car from new and done 250,000 mile with no faults until now
Light came on after a jet wash

Your issue could be the ride height sensor has rusted off - have a search of the forum it’s quite common

Sorry for such a late response to everyone who gave good advise. Found a great guy ( mobilemerc) on internet ex Merc mechanic of 20 years and very reasonable. car all sorted, rusted sensor on left hand side. He also replaced engine mounts all for £120.00 I supplied parts.
now have another annoying issue, when turning to the left even very slightly I hear a whiring noise ( like a small fan) inside the car which sounds like it's coming from the speaker. Just annoying but doesn't affect car.
Any clues if someone else has had a similar problem.
