Hi everyone, I've just purchased a 2002 SL500. Ive been reading some expensive horror stories. Generally how reliable are they and can they be an everyday car?

Hi David,

Like any older car they can have problems, or not.
There is a lot of good info on here regarding them, especially the ABC. Good servicing and use seems to be key to keeping them on the road.

It will enjoy being used daily and benefit from the regular use. Enjoy your new SL.
